Inboard and Sterndrive Engine Service and Maintenance

We service and repair inboard gasoline engines and sterndrive systems dockside. Our mobile technicians carry factory diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer service procedures on Mercruiser and Volvo Penta systems. Services include cooling system work (heat exchangers, raw water pumps, thermostats, raw water strainers), engine system and filtration (engine oil and filter, fuel filter, water separator, transmission fluid), exhaust system inspection, and electrical and ignition problems related to batteries, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor.

Outboard Engine Service and Maintenance

Outboards are the most common motors on boats in our area, and saltwater is hard on every component. Our experienced boat technicians diagnose and service outboard motors from Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki at your location. Dockside outboard services include fuel system service (injectors, carburetors, vapor separator tanks, fuel lines), cooling system service (water pump and impeller replacement, thermostat testing, flushing), lower unit service (gear oil changes, seal replacement), ignition and starting system diagnosis, tilt and trim system troubleshooting, computer diagnostics and engine fault code scanning. We can also complete engine repowers when service is no longer cost-effective at our Pensacola boat repair shop.

Diesel Engine Service and Maintenance

Finding a mobile boat mechanic who can properly service marine diesel engines is rare. Most mobile operations only work on outboards. Our experienced marine mechanics service Cummins, Yanmar, Detroit Diesel, and Volvo Penta diesel systems on larger cruisers, sailboats, trawlers, and commercial vessels.

Diesel-specific dockside services include fuel system diagnosis (injectors, lift pumps, bleeders), cooling system service, exhaust inspection, electrical and starting system troubleshooting, and engine hour-based maintenance intervals.

Marine Plumbing, HVAC, and Onboard Systems

Boats with cabins, heads, and galleys have onboard systems that tend to fail at the worst possible time. Our mobile mechanics service marine A/C and refrigeration systems, freshwater plumbing, holding tanks and marine sanitation devices, bilge pump systems, and heads.

Storm Damage Assessment and Hurricane Preparation

Florida’s Gulf Coast is one of the most active hurricane zones in the country. Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and Hurricane Sally in 2020 both caused significant damage to boats throughout Escambia County, and every season brings the potential for more. Our mobile team provides post-storm damage assessment at your vessel’s location, insurance documentation and estimates prepared to industry standards, electrical system inspection after saltwater submersion, and pre-hurricane preparation and vessel securing. We also work directly with insurance adjusters to help move your claim forward.
